Our Story

Groovy Doodle Graphics was inspired by Bella, my Shepadoodle. For as long as I can remember, I have had a passion for design. In fact, I started dabbling with graphic design when I was about 12 years old. I became sick with Lyme Disease and was not able to go to school; my escape was design. I fell in love with creating instantly, but it wasn't until I was in my late 20s that I started to realize I could actually make a living off of doing what I love. This realization came after creating a website and tons of marketing materials for my boyfriend's moving company. The reactions from his customers and from him inspired me to take on more, eventually creating all the marketing materials for a local lawn mowing business. I love the freedom freelancing allows me along with the ability to choose who I work with; in my opinion design is a team effort. You tell me your vision, and I make it a reality. I like to think that my unique style and approach to graphic design match the uniqueness of Bella's personality, which is one of the reasons why I decided to make my brand Groovy Doodle Graphics. Being able to freelance enables me to work from home and give my dogs their very best life, what is more important than that?! |
